10 Secret Tips for HCG Diet

1. Design your meals beforehand for each day. Even plan the meals for the week at a time. Take it another step further and prepackage all the portions of your meat.

2. Delight in food? Then it is important to find a HCG recipe book with delicious recipes. This will help you plan meals and find recipes that you will enjoy. An additional bonus is that some of these recipes can be fixed so that your family members can also eat them.

3. Decrease consumption a couple of days before you get going the HCG diet. Especially if you are a big starch eater, The HCG Diet does not allow for any starch except melba toast.

4. At the same time every hour drink 8 oz of water.. HCG suggests drinking approx. 2 liters a day. The point of this is to flood all the toxins and fat from your body. If you need a little flavor, make a big pitcher of flavored tea and add Stevia. You can have as much as you want.

5. People has different times of the day where they are famished. The allowed portion can be changed slightly to meet those needs. I don't need breakfast or much of a lunch but I love nightly sweets. Hence I moved my first fruit portion to the evenings so that I could have a 'dessert'. Some people who will have one portion of their melba toast for breakfast and another who would save both their portionS of meat for dinner.

6. Schedule your drops or injections at approximately the same time each day. This will keep the hormones at regular levels.

7. If following a strict protocol, make sure you purchase oil free beauty products. Dry skin is common.

8. The first two days are the load up period. Do a good job since it will boost your metabolism and help curtail the starved feeling.

9. Find someone who will do the HCG diet with you. There are discounts for purchasing more HCG drops and you can share the costs of supplies. Most importantly you will have someone to encourage you and help you stay on track!

10. There are several signs of success. Record weight, inches, and if possible, fat content.
