End Times Prophecy Bible Study

The book of Revelation is one that numerous Christians try to avoid. Churches will dance around that one book and never hold any Revelation Bible study. It should not be hard to see that this one book has been neglected by Christians for far too long.

So why is it that Christians do not like to have Bible studies on Revelation? End time prophecy is something so many people are interested in and yet no one seems to go to the source to get a good handle on it. What is it about Revelation and end times prophecies that so many people find so hard to comprehend?

The answer to that is really more straightforward than it needs to be. The subject of end times prophecy has been taught in so numerous ways that you have about a thousand differing views on how to interpret the scriptures in Revelation. That is why Bible studies are not welcome on the subject of Revelation in many christian churches. It is cause they do not know what to believe and therefore do not require to have to deal with it.

The solution to this is as uncomplicated as the dilemma itself though. Because the real issue can not be a lack of desire to hear of end times we require to look into what the real issue is and solve it. As already mentioned, the issue is all of the doctrines floating around on the subject. So we want to find a way to cut through the false doctrine of Revelation and get the true doctrine.

This could be done the same way any other doctrine should be formed. The trouble people have is they listen to men and schools taught with mans wisdom too often. We want to throw out the commentary and get into the scripture itself. The Bible will interpret itself for us. That is the only way to study the end times.

First we need to throw out everything we have been taught and then stare at the scriptures for what they in truth declare. Doing this will shock you because when you study Revelation it will not be long beforehand you find out most if not all of what is being taught is wrong. That is why we need to throw out what we already have heard since no one seems to be able to agree on anything. When that happens there is a clear sign Satan is at work trying to destroy the certainty of the Bible. Study end times with an open mind and heart.

Now you know how to study Revelation and end times prophecy. Simply try not to get caught in the trap of attempting to force scripture to say what you have heard beforehand. I know that when I threw it all out and let the Bible teach me instead of commentary things went much better. I believe I have a firm grasp on this so called difficult book of the Bible.

It is very rewarding to declare the least when you discover the certainty of what scripture says. Make an end times Bible study happen at your church. I just ask that you first have everyone agree to throw out what they think they already know. Only read the scripture for what it states in context. Your view of end times prophecy will never be the same.
