Contradictory to popular wisdom, when it is about the building and construction industry, gainfulness and sustainability go side by side. As a matter of fact, if a new building component part does not contribute to business profitableness, it is not sustainable. Sustainability, or high performance design, is often equated with "green design." Yet, superior performance design is about producing financially brilliant building options, not plainly being "green." Consumers ordinarily will not pay for something that is green unless there is a financial gain also. Sustainability is a wonderful business reasoning initially - green goes with it.
