Lily House Offers Real Help for Young Mums!

Lily House is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to serving young mothers and mothers-to-be when they most require it!

Situated on the gorgeous Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Lily Housebrings together dedicated workers plus volunteers to give compassionate and meaningful support for young women in crisis, including both pregnant girls plus those with young children.

"Our aim is not to merely present shelter or crisis accommodation for pregnant teenagers," says co-founder Darin Browne, "We want to go far beyond that. Our want is to coach and equip young mothers so that they are already not merely single mums, but they are the extremely best mothers they are ready to maybe be!"

Founded in 2007, Lily House has quickly become a welcome addition for the care of pregnant ladies in South East Queensland. Funded by donations and staffed by gifted plus compassionate carers, the 2 homes that shape the backbone of Lily House provide clean, modern and comfortable living conditions in addition to expert coaching for the girls.

Already we tend to have had a number of girls come back to us when pregnant, prepare for the baby, deliver the baby and nurture the child in their 1st 6 or 8 months of life. This constitutes a success to us, plus when they graduate from Lily House, we hope to hear positive reports regarding them for countless years to come.

Lily House is not merely a half way house for ladies in difficulties, but a place of nurture and support that can take unfortunate and tragic circumstances plus rework them into life changing successes for each mother and baby.

The vision of Lily House is simply not simply to support mothers, but to produce fantastic mothers who may competently care for their children throughout life.
