SIA License Qualifications

Of all the roles that necessitate a license of your SIA, no two would force similar qualifications. Here is a comprehensive list of all of the qualifications that have been acceptable for every different job. Details will also be found along the pages of each individual job. During the instances where a couple of qualification is listed, applicants have been not expected to obtain multiple qualification for one job, they do, however, need a choice between qualifications listed.

Cash and valuables for the transit:

* Level 2 award documented in cash and valuables at the transit (NOCN)
* NOCN award in the cash and valuables in transit (Scotland)

Vehicle immobilisation:

* Level 2 Award at the Vehicle Immobilisation, (examining body: Edexcel – 0845 576 0026).

Security guarding:

1. Level 2 Award within a security guarding, accepted for this following awarding bodies:

Manned guarding and key holding don't require formal qualifications. However, if the activities applied when undertaking tasks of manned guarding or key holding fall under the banner of each and every method of security work, the appropriate license need to be obtained.
