The costs of ignoring health and safety

You won’t get many employees or customers wanting to get involved with your business if it has a reputation for flouting health and safety legislation. There are workplaces that have obvious dangers for employees such as those businesses that operate within the construction industry, but there are others where health risk is less tangible. In these cases it can often be when a staff member becomes ill or has an accident that the company acknowledges that it has issues with health and safety.

In these instances the need for tribunal representation is great and the need to show that positive action has been taken to remedy the situation is required. Health and Safety consultancy can identify possible risk and tackle potential issues before they arise.

Taking a proactive approach will ensure you engender a happy and productive team of employees. Your reputation as a responsible and caring employer will do much to attract customers to trade with you.
