There are a number of lodges that offer accommodates in and around the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the Ngorongoro Crater is located in Tanzania. Some of the area’s lodges include Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, and Rhino Lodge. Choosing between the lodges is best done based on where you want to be located during your safari and the amenities you want to have available to you while staying at a Tanzania lodge. The Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge is located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. This lodge has panoramic windows that are great for looking out and viewing wildlife in the crater. The view is also a good way to take in the crater’s scenery. The Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge has about 90 rooms. The Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is located on the east rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. This Tanzania lodge is one of the more upscale and comfortable safari accommodations in the area. This lodge has about 100 rooms. The amenities include a pool from which there is a good view of the crater. The Ngorongoro Serena Lodge is interesting for being perched in the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater’s caldera. The rooms have an unique décor that includes recreations of prehistoric cave paintings. One of the amenities of the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge is that they have a telescope on the lounge balcony for guests to use. The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is a luxury Tanzania lodge. It is also located on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. It is made up of three camps that allow for an intimate experience including romantic suites. The amenities of the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge include a personal butler, an elegant domed dining room, and an outdoor ding deck with a view of the crater.. Each of the suites at this lodge also have their own private viewing decks to enjoy the surrounding Crater scenery from. There are about 30 suites at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. The Rhino Lodge is the complete opposite of the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, as this is the most simple of the Tanzania lodges on the rim of the crater. It is a good cheap alternative to camping in the Conservation Area. This lodge has about 25 rooms. The accommodations are simple, but they still include a bathroom with hot and cold water as well as verandahs from which you can view the crater and the wildlife.
